Mach 3 > All

Ok, so I have been using a Gillette Mach 3 for a long time. A while back, my uncle tried to talk me into getting a shick quatro, which I did. Man was that razor junk. It didn't shave my face nearly as well, and it left splotches. I would have to go back over my face entirely w/ my Mach 3. Recently, my brother-in-law sold me on the new Gillette Fusion Proglide. It has 5 blades (WOOHOO) instead of 3, so it's automatically superior -_-. Also, apparently, if you get the one that vibrates, that's even better. Well I couldn't imagine how having a vibrating razor would shave my face any better than one that doesn't, so I just got the standard fusion proglide. I still think the Mach 3 is the best, I didn't see how 5 blades were better. It just made cleaning out the hair that much harder because the blades are closer together. I still say the Mach 3 is the number one razor. I'll be dust-balling my proglide, and sticking w/ my mach 3.

What are your thoughts?

I just got the Fusion myself recently as I left the GII Razor while on vacation in the US. They don't sell GII handles anymore. I got the one with no power/vibration though and I though it was barely an improvement over the GII if at all. I actually prefer the GII as you can trim without the need to use a separate "single blade" at the other end of the razor. You can't use the 5 bladed side for trimming as it is too wide.

The one thing I don't like about Mach 3 cartridges though is that they have lubricating strips on them, and that the ingredients in the lubricant used is proprietary.
