Since most machines do end up running assembly subroutines for speed, it would be a nice niche to have a series of generic routines that you'd bring to a company needing a package of software. Then, you could write the calling software in Java or C#. That stuff isn't so difficult. You just have to learn the particular language gotchas from a book. There are many upper level languages that just run a loop all day until they get an interrupt from a client that wants to buy some product. You can save server power by just running a subroutine checking for inputs that interrupt which go to the gets the client's email and address info. It's still the same info gathering routine for the client. Then there's still the same routine for keeping the inventory intact. These can all be generic calls that you already have programmed for each processor they want to use.
Get used to it. They are taking the jobs that men used to do exclusively. She'll be the CEO at your next job interview. Who cares if she has a boyfriend or not? Who cares what kind of computer she has - or what kind of car she drives? Are you jealous that she is able to get the job that was always for the man? She has a brain too. That's all it takes to get a job. It doesn't matter what kind of haircut she has - or does it? Would you get that haircut if it got you the job?
It sure seems that you go by appearance as a major factor. Are you as certain that the girl with pony tails or long blond hair strands wouldn't have the attitude you are avoiding? I used to avoid women who smoked because I knew that they were smelly - this was after I quit smoking for awhile. It also gave me an excuse to not have to deal with asking them out. One can find many excuses to avoid contact with people. Why is it so important to find the definitive hairdo or the kind of car she drives?
