The Thinkpad

Ok so some of you might remember from the hardware section of CPU's forum, I recently bought an old IBM thinkpad for $10.00. Has an old P2 proc and 128 Mb of ram, and like 3 Gb of hd spread over two volumes, and IBM's famous swappable bay CD ROM drive, but it also has windows 98 including a full install of microsoft office, so for the price I paid, I guess it was worth it.

It's also got 2 PCMCIA slots, which, not having the original win 98 install CD, will probably end up being worthless, since every card I've tried to enable ends up demanding the original W98 install CD as part of the driver install process. There was this cute little twin port USB2 card I found, complete with the driver CD, and even that's not good enough, the windows install routine demands the W98 disc as part of the process.

but, So be it, what can one expect for $10.00?

what distro of X should I put on it? I want something that is not a resource hog that i can use to run a few graphic/photo editing apps on.
