I was using the Pilot G-2s up until I discovered the liquid expresso.
One of the cool things about it is that the pen barrel housing is actually an ink bottle holding a reservoir of ink, so unlike most pens there is no fibre-felt media holding just a fraction of ink.
The G2? I use the .7 mostly, sometimes the 1.0 although it's a very heavy line.
They've also got an ultra fine that is like a .38 that is really good for filling in ledgers where there is a high density of work going on.
The extra fine points on the liquid expresso are .7 mm and is perfect. If you go with the "medium point" they are 1.0 mm and really a little too bold for most work.
I like pens that write green ink. And the main problem I have with the green G-2 is that the ink is so dark it looks more like a bad batch of black ink.
I'm also addicted to collecting Sanford Sharpie's in the full rainbow of colors, everytime they put out a new batch of colors, I can't resist adding them to the collection. Even though I seldom use them. I just throw them into a huge wooden cigar case and "save them" for whatever I'll never know.
That said, Sanford sells dual ended sharpies that are standard on one end, and razor point on the other, in black, blue, green, and red,and I do use those frequently. Particularly the green, most people won't fool with green ink, because you almost always have to buy an assortment of colors to get a green one. Meaning most folks aren't going to have a green pen conveniently in their pockets, so my checks are a little safer from adulteration when written in green ink.
