Been great here the past several days, wish it would stay like this. But it's going to go back to sucking for the next couple days.
Fortunately after that it looks like it might start getting a little better. 'bout time for this time of the year.
Give me 68-72F, low humidity, partly cloudy skies and a nice little breeze for 3/4 of the year (with some rainy / cloudy days thrown in to keep things interesting), make the other 1/4 of the year brisk to freezing and snowy, and I'm happy.
Anything much lower than 68-72F or so (give or take) is stupid because it requires extra clothing which is lame; anything much higher is also stupid because unless you're just standing there, you're sweaty and uncomfy.
True, but there's not snow on the roads for 1/2 the year (at least not in most places).
I guess you could rinse off the undercarriage after each drive / every couple of days when there's salt on the road. I'm sure just not driving in it is still superior.
But yeah, I wonder if road salt contributed in any way to your front end woes.
