Perhaps you might answer this? how does a helicopter develop forward thrust/ steering inertia? And how are the pilot's control intentions implemented into the hardware?
So then, the "swash plate" causes the main blades to tilt, creating an imbalance in lift,and it's the result of this imbalance that propels the helicopter in a desired direction?
Does this roughly translate that the blades create more lift at the rear side of the craft, pushing it forward? I really have no clue, but have always wondered.
