Pancakes

Nothing can be more hit or miss than pancakes. Go to some restaurants and they suck, others and they're great. but not all the time.

IHOP.. known for their pancakes.. I'll always hit it when they are running the All You Can Eat promotion, but sometimes even theirs are dry or they fall apart as you try to pick them up with a fork.

Denny's.. really good and pretty consistent.

Anything ending in Pancake House. 50 varieties with all manner of fruit and compost but the plain buttermilk pancakes always vary

I think it's something in the flour these days... hell I can't even make really good ones at home anymore. I don't think the flour mills are churning out a consistent absorption rate in their flour now.

Eggo's?? Frozen tiny waffles heated in a toaster?? Okay in a pinch I guess but I prefer my freshly made waffles in my waffle iron

From a restaurant... Belgian Waffles yum!!!

Place I go to has a Belgian waffle combo.. a waffle with scrambled eggs and sausage links

I like orange juice in the morning, but only fresh squeezed. Some restaurants I go to have the big orange juicer which holds oodles of oranges in a wire bin above it.. you can watch the orange roll down a chute, get sliced in half then each half goes thru rollers what squeezes out the juice into a pitcher below.. neato

I have a juicer at home to make my own fresh squeezed OJ, takes at least 3 big oranges for a large glass.

I also have coffee with my breakfast, whatever it is.
