Yeah I've flipped on SNL every once in a while over the years and haven't ever been impressed at all with what I've seen. It kinda seems to take itself a little too seriously too but maybe it's just me. I enjoy Key and Peele though, I just wish the season was longer (same with South Park).
I do like when they show the "best of" episodes of SNL on VH1 Classic and feature some of the classic regulars.
When I say I don't watch TV... I mean I'm not glued to it every night watching the shows that are on that night, then later watching the shows that were on at the same time that I DVR'd.. kinda like my brother does. Sometimes, late at night before while lying in bed I'll flip thru the channels and maybe stop at an interesting episode of How It's Made, or a cool documentary on History, or a neat show of Wheeler Dealer on Velocity to watch Edd China restore a car, and yes, every weekend during Spring to Fall it's NASCAR!!!
I guess on the plus side, most people probably will never have rooted harder for Gordon to win than they will next season (or been as glad that he won / sad that he lost).
He's been more and more cautious on the track since the new wife started squirting out kids. I swear this is why he's never balls to the wall on restarts, or if he's not in the front 3, he's cooling his heels at the back of the pack until three quarters thru a race which is when he'll make the move to the front. Much safer for the accidents to happen way in front of you so you can slow down and meander thru the wrecks.
