I had mine at full screen when I tested FF4 RC... resolution was 1920 x 1100 something. The resolution of the monitor was 1920 x 1200 but the top of the browser occupied some space. One thing to keep in mind too is to update the video card's driver to the latest one. When I initially tested FF4 RC I was not getting any hardware acceleration... only after I upgraded to the latest nVidia drivers did acceleration fire up.
Back to using FF4, and I'm going to start using it as my main browser for a while.
Chrome still feels young and it has some annoying quirks that don't exist in Firefox. Also, the Omnibox (address bar) is inferior to Firefox's AwesomeBar... it takes longer for results to appear, and it only ever shows ~5 results, max. They will be improving Omnibox but apparently there won't ever be a scrollbar like in FF, which I think is kinda weird.
Chrome's UI is definitely noticeably faster than FF's, but FF's isn't that terrible.
Yeah, Firefox4 has moved the bookmarks to the other side of the page. Other than that, I don't see much difference between any of the browsers.
I just saw "The Social Network" about how Facebook was made. What makes it a billion dollar company? I'm guessing it's the advertising. I know there's some in the sidebars. I'm thinking that if the advertising can find it's way to you (the interested buyer), they'll pay some really big bucks. If they know what you like and what kind of friends you have, I guess the advertising companies will pay more. How much money do these guys have? I don't see the true size of the advertising world - obviously. What am I missing? Is it that now the whole world gets to see the Geiko ad via Facebook? Do people in China buy Geiko Insurance?
