Interesting thought I had today about the affect that 'big fish' have on their teams
Which team do you think would be better?
team A has two .340 (avg) 35 (hr) 125(rbi) "godzilla" position players, and seven more in the .210-250(avg) 9 (hr) 40 (rbi) batting in the line up
or
team B having eight position players in the .280 20 86 range and one player in the .200 8 34
I think that some teams handicap them selves with lopsided salaries to support one or two big fish (to appease theit fans) and then are left filling out the rosters with what they can afford
