FWIW, The day I had my knee surgery, on the way home from the clinic, I stopped by a walmart pharmacy to get my pain meds.....and even THEN I did not use one of their courtesy scooters.
Of course they were already all out propping up lard assed aisle cruisers, but even if one had been available I probably would have declined the opportunity.
Our whole world is coming to an end if that happens - to be sure.
I liked the time when I was able to drive a car without city stickers, a parking permit for the lot, various proofs of insurance, the car pink slip. Maybe I'm dreaming, but such a time existed. Then, the politicians got an idea - not only can you collect a fee for the permit, license plate, sticker, banner, etc, but you could also write the perpetrator a ticket for getting caught breaking said law. Are we getting just a bit too lawyerish? If it bothers you, take em to court or become the next politician that will make the next set of laws.
Well, I finally spoke with the director of security at our library about this problem, and was told that the individual in question was a renegade that had already been banned from the library for customary one-day and one-week disciplinary periods. And the third offense will be six months.....so perhaps the world is not so far out of whack as I had supposed
She prolly feels discriminated against too. Having to move her fork all the way from her plate to her mouth with no assistance from anyone at all....poor dear.
