I still remember the exit polls in Florida showing Gore winning and after a couple of hours things changed. I wonder what would have happened if Gore became president... perhaps even 9-11 would not have happened as it is possible it could have been nipped in the bud by a more pro-active prez in the Whitehouse. I remember dubya in the early months being always on vacation at his ranch in Texas.
