I just noticed that the C21 uses CO2. The "airsoft" guns I had didn't use them, I believe they generated their own air (unless they were spring action, which the more I think about it is probably what it was...)
Y'ever see Winchester 73.. in the beginning of the movie James Stewart and Staphen McNally are in a shooting contest to win a prized Winchester rifle.. and it ends up with just them two left in a runoff. The guy tosses up a silver dollar and Mcnally misses it, but they can't find the dollar and the guy has no more on him for Stewart's turn, so this Indian takes off his necklace which has a dollar size round peice hanging from it, with a wee hole in it. So the guy tosses that up and Stewart shoots and it comes back down and their all like "aww too bad". So Stewart says he hit it but it went right thru the hole. So they take the necklace bit and put a stamp over the hole and toss it up again and Stewart shoots, down it comes with a hole thru the stamp... and he wins the rifle.
Speaking of lasers, I've got a green laser pointer, and it's really cool because not only is it way brighter than a red one, but when it's dark you can see the actual beam. It's faint but you can definitely see it.
They make more powerful ones where the beam is super bright and very easy to see -- but they're expensive and extremely dangerous (to the eyes).

Do all "good" airsofts use CO2 cartridges?
Tried it before myself... no luck.
