I thought this rag folded. I remember them in all kinds of money troubles when Monarch Computers and a few others defaulted on advertising revenues owed the publisher.

Yesterday I saw a Maximum PC ad on the Facebook right panel "ad" space, ened up at their website where I see the print issue still available for $19.95 a year. I haven't read that since my subscription ran out a few years ago

Yeah, it's still around. It still seems to be in most magazine stands, as I see it on the stands all the time in my neck of the woods.

Occasionally I'll pick one up to see what's up, but nothing in it really tickles my fancy (nothing in any computer magazine I've seen these days does, really).
