I know I've talked about this game several times in the past, but I can't not mention it here: Hover! (which came free on the Windows 95 CD) was also a super fun game and I also played it a ton:

It took me forever to figure out what the name of the game was.
It wasn't until one day like a year ago I just happened to stumble across a picture of it and BAM the rest was history.
