hold them approx 8" away from a conventional CRT type screen. If your parents still use an oldie CRT TV, put one of these inside the cabinet, and wait for them to turn it on.
Swallow one, wait about two hours and then swallow a second one.
put one in the bottom of a styrofoam or paper drinking cup, and fill with pop, and then set on a metal counter, then offer a friend a drink.
tape one to each front paw of a cat, and then set the kitty on top of a washer or dryer.
The thought has also crossed my mind as to what effect, if any, these things have on the body (like messing up things internally on a cellular level, causing cancer, screwing with your heart, or something).
I know that supposedly there's no conclusive evidence that living near high voltage lines has any negative effects on the body, but given the "magical"/powerful nature of these magnets it still makes me wonder.
Yes, the pop is just cammo... but the essence of my suggestion is that your target gets to see you place the cup onto the flat surface, with no apparent effect (because the farther apart the magnets are, the lesser the attraction between them). So the strong attraction when you are setting in place is only the last fraction of a second, and the magnets' actions are assisting your effort to set it down.
Your target, on the other hand will first encounter the magnet's attraction at full strength, and their action will be in opposition to his intent. So after having seen you place the drink with no effort, he will be puzzled over the effort he's having to put into raising it.
So. are these magnets strong enough that they will attract each other through your hand? (one on the palm, one below the knuckles)
