Yeah, I gathered (some of) that from the last race. They were talking about how tire pressure affected speed, and I also saw one of the drivers get loose on a restart near the end. Interesting point about the ballooning, I hadn't thought about the higher tire pressure contributing to looseness.
I wonder too if a lower initial tire pressure reduces tire wear, so by the time Gordon's PSI goes up, his tires are also fresher than the other guys'?
Hopefully tonight's race will have a better finish, last week's finish was pretty anti-climactic.
