He lost some political power after the House became Republican. He hasn't been able to stop the wars. He has gotten the economy in better shape. The Stock Market is higher, the auto manufacturers are looking good. Xmas shopping was a bit better than last year. Even real estate is looking somewhat better.
But, there are still no jobs. The States are all in debt and can't support the schools, welfare, and the big item these days is Health Care. Obama tried to fix the high cost of getting sick in the States. The doctors have to borrow about a half million to pay for their education. The hospitals need to get new equipment and hire the doctors while they are barely squeeking by because not everyone has insurance. So, maybe there should be cheaper insurance. But, the cost of insurance keeps going up. Less people can afford to pay the premiums. There's still a lot of homeless. So, Obama hasn't done much of what he promised. Congress hasn't been that supportive of him.
That's how I see it. I'm sure there are other points of view.
We beat up Bush when he was there. We'll beat up Obama, too. We certainly haven't been as prosperous as we were a while ago. But, I'm not sure we were much happier even with jobs and money to spend. We just moaned about the long hours at work or the high cost of gas. I think we are complaint central.
The government has had some previous contact with the Che Gueverra types. Patricia Hearst comes to mind or Malcolm X. They did some stuff that brought them to our attention.
But, did anything happen really - other than a few gunshots and a few shots back atcha. How could anyone honestly try to oust the government? Isn't the FBI, CIA, Homeland Security and such, basically in business to search and destroy this type of fellow? They have SWAT teams that would outmatch anyone who got this kind of plan.
Cng is right. But, the free market (with no government) is not just gonna appear because we want it to be so.

We know what the problem is - the government.
So?

That's why I asked "So?"
