1944 and 45 the Japanese launched over 9000 balloon bombs, a hydrogen balloon with a bomb payload, at Canada and the USA. Less than 300 were every seen or found in North America, reckon most just fell into the ocean. The only casualties from them was when a preacher and his wife went on a picnic with 5 Sunday school kids. While the preacher was parking the car, his wife and the kids were looking in the woods for a nice picnic spot, saw a balloon on the ground, went to it to check it out and it exploded killing them all.
Little was known about these balloon bombs because the US Office of Censorship squashed it in the press.
Techguy can go next because even though it was reported that 6 had died, the preachers wife was pregnant so the unborn fetus could technically be considered the 7th and his 7 answer would be correct.
